Musical Theater Dance Company (ages 12-young adult, by audition)
Level Overview
Students in this class rehearse and perform a theater production that honors Jesus using theater-style songs, acting, and musical-theater style dance. They perform in both our fall and spring productions and also take part in our spring conference. Our goal for students in this class (as well as those in all other levels of the Upper School) is to train them to be professional performers for professional Christian theater companies.
Mandatory Classes:

Mandatory Classes:
- Mondays:
5:00-7:20 Rehearsals and Vocal Class - One five-week black box acting session (on a different day of the week during the school year) with studio performance
- 1:55-2:35: Teen Tap
- 2:35–3:15 PM: Teen Ballet
- 3:15–3:55 PM: Worship Dance
- Regular Vocal or Drama Privates (by invitation only)
- Participation in two productions (Fall & Spring)
- Black Box Theater Teen Event admittance for all black box events
- Access to online videos for both productions
- A t-shirt for each of the two productions
- Use of costumes, sets, props, and stage for both productions
- Family & loved ones admission to two productions
- Memory book (Hardback for full-year students, paperback for second-semester students)
