Kim Seim
Kim is the School Director, Company Director, Choreographer, a teacher in the Pre-Professional Program, and a private lesson instructor. A classically trained ballet dancer with over forty years of experience, Kim is also a homeschooling mother of three and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Her passion is not only to train strong, expressive dancers, but foremost to disciple her students to follow Christ.
Kim trained and performed at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, dancing roles such as Prayer in Coppélia and the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. She later danced at a university with a highly regarded ballet program, where she was offered a scholarship after directing and choreographing student works. She went on to graduate from Biola University with studies in cross-cultural missions and the Bible. Kim has directed a Rejoice! Ballet school in Southern California, founded and led His Grace Dance Ministry, and has served as Director of Rejoice! Ballet of Bentonville for ten years. Her vision for Rejoice! Children’s Ballet Theater is to develop dancers of excellence and godly character, with the long-term goal of forming a professional Christian youth company that supports gospel-centered water well ministries.
