Class Dress Codes    

Dress Code Policy

In ALL classes, our dress code is required and strictly enforced by teachers. Students who enter the classroom without proper attire will be asked to change if possible. If the correct attire cannot be obtained, we will contact the parent to arrange corrections before the next class.


GIRLS CLASS

Classical Company Ballet 1-5 and Teen Ballet:
  • Pink, hole-free ballet tights
  • Modest, solid black, short-sleeved, scooped-neck leotard (no gathering, decorations, lace, or flutter sleeves)
  • Pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather; no ballet-like house slippers at any level)
  • Black, traditional-style ballet skirt (wrap or pull-on), must not extend past mid-thigh
  • Hair styled in a classical, neat ballet bun with plenty of pins and a hair net

Fun & Foundations:
  • Clean white crew socks
  • Solid black, short-sleeved, scooped-neck leotard (no gathering, decorations, lace, or flutter sleeves)
  • Pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather; no ballet-like house slippers at any level)
  • Black dance or under shorts (mandatory since no tights are worn)
  • Black ballet skirt (pull-on style recommended for this age group)
  • Hair in a proper, neat ballet bun; small matching hair accessories are acceptable

Musical Theater Dance and Worship Dance:
  • Solid black leggings (mid-calf or ankle length; specific length may be required for shows)
  • Modest, solid black, short-sleeved, scooped-neck leotard (no gathering, decorations, lace, or flutter sleeves)
  • Pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather; no ballet-like house slippers at any level); white socks allowed under shoes if needed

  • Hair in a neat ponytail; small accessories allowed

ALL BOYS (CLASS)
  • Solid black t-shirt (dry-fit or polyester material recommended)
  • Black athletic shorts (no stripes or other colors)
  • White crew socks worn under ballet shoes
  • Black ballet shoes
  • Hair neatly combed, with gel or hairspray if hair is longer
  • Dance belt/strap (required for boys in advanced ballet roles)

GIRLS (PERFORMANCE)
  • New or like-new theater pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes (no holes or stains allowed)
  • Additional costume items may include black jazz pants, solid black scoop-neck short-sleeved leotards (no gathering or special designs), black leggings of a specified length, and/or nude leotards to match costumes
  • Costume details will be provided well before the production season begins
  • Limited items may be available for borrowing in cases of financial need

BOYS (PERFORMANCE)
  • Black baseball pants
  • White or black shirt (depending on the performance)
  • Black long socks
  • Black shorts
  • Black ballet shoes
  • Sandals may be required for this semester’s performance
