Students in this class typically have 4-8 years of ballet experience and demonstrate strong ability in both technique and performance.
Training includes:
Mandatory Classes (Most attend all three days plus scheduled privates before class on one of the days below)
Suggested Classes
Students in this class typically have 4-8 years of ballet experience and demonstrate strong ability in both technique and performance.
Training includes:
- Perfecting an advanced ballet syllabus
- Participation in contemporary dance class
- Learning and performing choreography for fall and spring productions, our annual conference, and our community events company productions
- Seasonal pas de deux class
Mandatory Classes (Most attend all three days plus scheduled privates before class on one of the days below)
- Mondays: 10:30-1:50 Technique, pointe, and contemporary
- Tuesdays: 10:30-1:50 Technique; choreography for the large productions and community events)
- Wednesdays: 10:30-1:50 Curriculum technique, curriculum pointe, variations practice
- Once a month on preselected Saturdays 9:00-12:30 (except when we have a community performance on a non-class day
Suggested Classes
- Mondays
- 1:55-2:35 Teen Tap
- 5:00–7:30 – Senior Musical Theater (by audition)
- Participation in two productions and the spring ballet conference
- Access to your child's online performance and conference videos
- One production t-shirt per performance
- Use of costumes, sets, props, and stage
- Free family admission to all productions and the conference competition and company performance
- A hardback memory book at the end of the year
