PRIVATES/SEMI-PRIVATES:
Students in the top levels of the ballet program are required to participate in four privates or semi-privates to prepare for spring ballet exams. Privates and semi-privates are also offered to students who are invited to attend Youth American Grande Prix. Check the handbook for details and pricing.
AUDIENCE PASS:
This is charged in lieu of audience tickets for performing families. It is due the last month of classes before each end-of-semester performance. (Admission to the performance for the public is free.)
$38 for families with just students in Fun & Foundations A and/or B
$60 for families with students other than Fun & Foundations A and/or B
REJOICE SCHOLARSHIPS: We currently offer financial scholarships to lower income families through a local charity. We sometimes also offer work scholarships. Please inquire via email if you would like to know more about these opportunities.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: Students who participate in our RCBT/curriculum classes must keep up regular attendance in order to participate in our performances and Olympics testing. (While we do not encourage absenteeism, Fun & Foundations B and C and Musical Theater dancers may miss their curriculum classes once a month, and Ballet 1-4 may miss their curriculum classes twice a month.) Dancers in intermediate pointe may miss this class no more than once a month. Students who are absent more than these maximums may be asked to take a private lesson at the regular rate in order to catch up with the other students in their class.
POLICY FOR SNOW/EMERGENCY MAKEUP DAYS: If we are not able to provide classes because of inclement weather, an emergency, faculty illness, etc., we will provide a make-up day, the date(s) of which will be determined at the beginning of the semester. (Please check the current "Dates to Remember" Page to find this session's snow/emergency makeup day.). Families who cannot make makeup days will not receive a refund.
MAKING PAYMENTS: Families are welcome to bring their payments with them (via check) to the studio on or before tuition due dates and put them in the tuition box in the observation room. They can also pay on our website under the tab "ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION." If parents are late in paying their tuition, they will be charged a $5 late fee per child or a $10 maximum late fee per family. Parents should think of scheduled tuition payments as part of a yearly tuition broken up into monthly payments. Whether the child comes to classes or not, tuition will be due each month until the end of the session or until the child drops out of classes. Exceptions may be granted in particular situations such as unforeseen illnesses and other emergencies. (Please see Kim about these).
RBA REFUND POLICY: We do not give refunds for classes, products, or services unless we cannot provide what we have shared above.
